Ritchie retires
Ian Ritchie, 63, will retire at the end of the summer. He joined the RFU in February 2012 and, under his leadership, the RFU has delivered record revenue and investment into professional and community rugby.

England head into August’s Women’s Rugby World Cup in Ireland after completing a clean sweep in the International Women’s Rugby Series in New Zealand. They kick off their campaign on 9 August against Spain at UCD Bowl, Dublin,K.O 2pm, live on ITV4.

Strength in depth
With England missing a total of 30 players for their 2-0 tour victory over Argentina, either through Lions selection or injury, Eddie Jones was very pleased with the effort. “I am pleased for the young players who all have a bit more growth in them and a chance to move forward.”

NatWest RugbyForce weekend
Over 600 grassroots rugby clubs signed up to this season’s NatWest RugbyForce with hundreds opening their doors to the local community as part of the annual NatWest RugbyForce weekend, which took place on 24-25 June.
