Chosen Hill faced Widden for the third time this season and with the series at 1-1 it was all to play for in the deciding fixture

Game 1 Chosen 3 (1) vs Widden 4 (2)

Widden started strongly and were first to score before Alex Schofield intercepted a pass in his own half and raced away to equalize. The half was end to end stuff with both sides trying to move the ball wide and just before half time Chosen Hill were snagged at the breakdown and from the resultant turnover the strong running Widden centre powered over in the corner for a 2-1 halftime lead.

Chosen Hill suffered a poor start to the second half and found themselves a further try behind after being unable to stop a close range charge off of a penalty but hit back with a try of their own through Harry Johns following a delightful one handed offload out of the tackle by Alex Schofield and found themselves level after another intercept this time by Daniel Laverton however a lapse in concentration in the last few moments of the game allowed Widden to sneak in at the corner to win the game.

Game 2 Chosen 0 (0) vs Widden 4 (3)

With both teams having large squads on the day several changes were made for the second game and Widden settled the quicker storming in to a 3-0 halftime lead scoring twice through the forwards after a mix up from the Chosen Hill lineout and once through a long range mazy run from one of the threequarters.

The second half was a much closer affair with Chosen restricting Widden to only one further score but being unable to cross the whitewash themselves due to strong defence from the visitors

Game 3 Chosen 3 (3) vs Widden 3 (0)

Chosen Hill started the game well and raced in to a 3-0 lead through tries from Ben Pritchard who raced away up the blindside after being put away by Ewan Riddel, Daniel Laverton who firstly benefitted from Alex Schofield's big hit and strip in the tackle and then scored a long range weaving individual effort.

Widden fought back in the second half and scored straight from the kick off following some poor tackling and Chosen Hill were slightly unlucky with the next try as a wide pass was dropped enabling a Widden player to swoop in unopposed for an easy try. With the game entering it's latter stages the Chosen Hill defence tried to hold out to get the win, with notable efforts coming from Seth Wilson and Lennon Robbins, however Widden forced their way over once again from close range to tie the scores.
