Chosen got off to a fine start with a Sean Kavanagh try converted by Andy King after just five minutes.
King then added penalty goals after 15 and 25 minutes before Number 8 Ian Ridell crashed over in the corner for an unconverted try to make it 18-0.
Just before half time centre Scott Claridge raced over for a try converted by King but then Spartans crossed for an unconverted try to make it 25-5 at the break.
Spartans had the better of the second half and scored their second try early on before Scott Claridge scored his second to make it 32-10.
Yellow cards for both Adam Claridge and Ed Higgs meant Chosen were down to 13 men for a full ten minutes but they somehow managed to survive without conceding any score. Spartans scored two late tries to narrow the gap to just 10 points but Andy King had the final word with a late penalty goal to ensure victory.
