When Chosen travelled to second placed Keynshan earlier in the season they suffered a 27 - 10 defeat but in this return match the tables were well and truly turned as Chosen produced their best display of the season.
Playing with the slope advantage it was Keynsham who opened the scoring with a penalty goal but already Chosen were showing signs of a renewed confidence and having worked on their defence in this week's training they produced a magnificent display of fifteen man rugby in which everyone showed real commitment in the tackle.
The Chosen forwards were on top form in the set piece and from a clean lineout catch and drive they rumbled over the line for a try from skipper and number eight Tom Gyde. Number ten Andy King missed the conversion but his side turned round at half-time with a two point advantage.
The second half saw strong defence from both sides and when Chosen, with two in the bin, were reduced to thirteen men they still managed to stop the Keynsham eight pushing them over the line for what could have been a winning try.
The only score in the second half was an Andy King penalty goal.
Next week Chosen are away to Gordano with a 2.15 Kick Off
