Chosen Hill ran in thirteen tries against below strength North Bristol to record a massive victory at Brookfield Road.

With several of their regular first team squad unavailable, North Bristol were put to the sword by a Chosen team who also showed several changes from that narrowly defeated seven days ago at Newent.
Playing up the slope, Chosen scored almost from the kick-off when the visitors were penalised near half way and a quickly taken tap penalty saw number eight Josh Bailey race away for a try under the posts converted by number ten Andy King.
North Bristol landed a penalty goal but then King ran in a try near the corner which he failed to convert. The visitors then crossed for an unconverted try of their own to narrow the gap to 12 – 8 but on the half hour Chosen flanker Dan Probin crashed over after a move from a penalty line-out twenty metres out, King was off target with the conversion and missed again after centre Ed Higgs crossed for the bonus point try on thirty five minutes.
The final points of the half went to North Bristol who landed a penalty goal to make the interval score 22 – 11.
Now with the advantage of the slope, Chosen opened the second half scoring after three minutes when scrum half Pete Gyde, making his first appearance of the season, crossed wide out. King, who was having an off-day with the boot, missed the conversion and also failed to improve on further tries scored by winger Ryan Rennebach and full back Tom Darby.
As the visitors began to tire, winger Nick Bates crossed for Chosen try number eight with King adding the extras and then converting a second try of the match from Probin.
By now Chosen were beginning to run riot and three more tries in quick succession from prop Jamie Wilce, second row Marc Riddel and a second from centre Higgs were all converted by King with the number ten then crossing for his own second try of the match. His conversion signalled the end of the match and a personal points tally of 24.
The win moved Chosen back up to 5th place in the table and next week they travel to forth placed Chew Valley.
