Leading with just twelve minutes to go, Chosen conceded three late tries to hand victory to their visitors

Injuries and un-availabilities meant that Chosen had to field a completely new centre partnership in Dale Rennebach and Ayodele Oladele and a new winger in Grant Panting and they also gave a debut to second row Nick Stroud, but despite these changes they acquitted themselves well and it was only after they had lost scrum half Pete Gyde and his replacement Matt Bates and were down to fourteen men following a yellow card that Harlequins took the lead.
Having lost the toss, Chosen had first use of the Brookfield Road slope and they took the lead after ten minutes when outside half Andy King landed a penalty goal from thirty metres.
Ten minutes later they lost scrum half Pete Gyde to injury and he was replaced by Matt Bates. The match was being played end to end at a fast pace and the pitch was holding up well despite recent heavy rains.
With less than five minutes to half time Harlequins won a penalty near the half way and a long kick to touch set up a lineout ten metres out. The Bristol forwards won the ball and drove over the line for a converted try and a four point interval lead.
Chosen were first to score in the second half when King, who was in fine form, charged down a clearance kick and gathered the ball to dive over near the posts. His conversion put his side back in front and despite losing replacement scrum half Bates to injury, they held the three point lead until the seventieth minute when, down to fourteen men after centre Daler Rennebach had been sin binned for a tackle offence, Harlequins crossed for a converted try and a four point lead.
Chosen then lost influential second row Dean Barnard to injury meaning that they had to reshuffle their side yet again and when Harlequins won a penalty they kicked to the corner and drove over for their third try of the afternoon which went un-converted.
With injury time being played Harlequins grabbed their bonus point try from a set scrum move with the conversion signalling the end of the match.
Despite the score-line and their injury and unavailability list, Chosen matched their visitors for most of the match and next week they travel down the M5 to take on Bristol Saracens.
