On a bitterly cold afternoon the home side took the lead after ten minutes with an unconverted try, and it was not until the twenty fifth minute that Chosen finally got some points on the board when, despite having both Rob Panting and Mike Darby in the sin-bin, outside half Andy King landed a penalty goal after a minor skirmish.
A second unconverted try from North gave them a 10-3 interval lead and with the wind at their backs Chosen opened the second half strongly but they were unable to break down a determined home defence and North added further penalty goals on fifty five and seventy minutes to seal victory and give their survival hopes a big boost.
Next week Chosen are at home to Chew Valley with a 2.30 scheduled kick-off.
