BRISTOL HARLEQUINS 38 CHOSEN HILL FP 17

Chosen travelled to in-form and third placed Harlequins on the back of a good win last week against Barton Hill, and they were right in the match until half time but then lost influential winger Ed Higgs to injury and the home side ran in nineteen more points to secure a comfortable victory.
Chosen’s first half points came from a try scored by prop Jamie Wilce and converted by outside half Andy King plus an interception try and conversion from King, whilst Harlequins ran up nineteen points for a five point interval lead.
In the second half, the injury to Chosen winger Ed Higgs meant that the match had to be switched to an adjacent pitch whilst Higgs was treated and all Chosen could manage was a solitary penalty goal from King whilst Harlequins ran in another nineteen points for a comfortable victory.
The loss meant that Chosen dropped back down to sixth place and next week they have a re-arranged home match against Chew Valley.
