Playing down the slope Chosen had the first opportunity to score after fifteen minutes but number ten Andy King’s penalty goal attempt went wide and it was the visitors who opened the scoring when their winger cut through a number of missed tackles and went over after twenty minutes with the conversion handing them a seven point lead.
Chosen finally got points on the board when King booted a penalty into the corner from where his forwards won the line out and shipped the ball out to full back Sean Kavanagh who crossed wide out. King missed the conversion attempt but with five minutes of the half remaining he landed a penalty goal for a single point lead at the break.
Saracens retook the lead in the opening minute of the second half when more weak Chosen tackling gifted them an unconverted try but ten minutes later they went back in front when prop Jamie Wilce burrowed his way over for an unconverted try of his own.
A penalty goal from King increased the narrow Chosen lead to four points but Saracens scored their third try of the afternoon after sixty five minutes with the conversion putting them back in front by three points.
Five minutes later King landed a penalty goal to level the scores at nineteen points all and set up a tense final quarter.
Saracens crept back in front with a penalty goal but with just minutes remaining Chosen had the final say and took victory when winger Jamie Gamble crossed for an unconverted try.
Next week Chosen travel to Burnham on Sea for their penultimate away league fixture.
