Old Richians 0 Chosen Hill 82

It was a mild morning as Chosen took on Old Richians at Lonlevens, the signs were not looking good for Richians as Josh Cannon ran around his winger to score in the first minute, Elliott converted.
Chosen were moving the ball well and an excellent catch from Harry Jones, led to Josh tip toeing the touchline to score his second, Elliott converted.
From a lineout Chosen made good ground and from the ensuing ruck George Tirel drove over for his first.
Good tackling from Richians thwarted good runs from Dan Robinson, Chosen kicked well and from the lineout and a great take from the ever improving Matt Mills saw him drive up the line to off load to Josh for his third, Elliott converted. From the kickoff Chosen moved it across the line involving forwards and backs ending a good run from Finn Mc Bride with Mikey Graves scoring, Elliott con.
Tim Rogers kicking was putting Chosen in some great positions, and from one of those a ruck was won, passed along the line and a good catch and pass from Deklan Gardiner sent Josh over again. Elliott converted.
This was the end of the first half and many changes by Chosen for the second would test their strength in depth, but it one of the players left on, namely Dan Robinson, who like a whirling dervish bounced off most of the Richians to score. Richians forwards started to perform better snuffing out a lot of Chosen’s attacks but they couldn’t stop the try of the match which saw Elliott kick the ball across the width of the pitch for Josh to catch and sprint over, after this Richians heads went down and it let the ever present Dan Robinson run in 3 more tries, one from Elliott and many conversions, ending 82 -0.
